ZIM's deal with Ottawa-based Cinerio Entertainment will see Cinerio's children's animation and children's learning products distributed over PPLive's peer-to-peer Internet TV platform.
PPLive already includes an American pop channel featuring Hollywood classics and travel/tourism channels. Most of its content comes from Chinese TV channels.
"Cinerio's English-language content is a great addition to ZIM-PPLive. Children's animations and English learning programs are in high demand in the Chinese market, and they can now be viewed by PPLive's large user base and by anyone with Internet access worldwide, " says Mr. Cowpland.
"We are very excited about this partnership with ZIM to launch our content into China and other international markets," says Cinerio's Kerry Williams. "We believe the P2P Internet TV platform is ideal for simultaneous and widespread viewing of our content."
